Mid Century Redux is an interior renovation project that pays homage to the timeless elegance of a 1954 Page Sutherland Page house while seamlessly accommodating our clients' contemporary lifestyle. We sought to preserve the essence of the original architecture, though the house had undergone multiple renovations over the years. A pivotal design decision involved unveiling the kitchen, previously tucked away as was customary during that era. The strategic introduction of several new skylights aimed to infuse the interior with an abundance of natural light, capturing moments of dappled light from the surrounding Live Oaks.
Interiors
Collaborating closely with our clients, we carefully selected contemporary furniture pieces that draw inspiration from the era in which the house was born. This mindful curation seeks to blend the spirit of the past with the comforts and aesthetics of the present.
